Boys Will Be Boys So . . . Hand Make Their Toys: Magnetic Hangman
We do a lot of traveling so the boys are always in need of compact games that can come along with us. With that in mind, one of the gifts our first grader is getting this year, is this magnetic Hangman game.
The design is very simple but it will do the job. Simply find a flat tin (I went with a 24 piece colored pencil kit but you might be able to find them at your local Michaels or A.C. Moore craft stores.
Once you have your tin, simply print page 1 onto a magnetic printable sheet (I used Avery brand). Print the other three pages onto regular printer paper. Cut the magnets apart and create 5 or six blank letter spaces from the leftover magnet sheet. Trim the "cover" sheets and then Mod Podge the paper to the tin.
If you're family is not big on traveling or you can't locate an acceptable tin, this still makes a great refrigerator game. One more quick and easy children's gift!
You can download the printable here.
