Sew In Tune: The End (the one with the giveaway)
Wow! Here we are at the end of a fabulous month of music inspired, BOY sewing projects. I couldn't resist using just one more song title. Today's inspiration is "The End" by the Doors. Okay so maybe it's not the exact end of the series since Melissa will post her Blank Slate Basics winners tomorrow but it is sadly the end of the series over here. Sniff, sniff.
First I want to say a huge thank you to our wonderful guests. Ladies, you did such a fabulous job on your tutorials and have inspired us all to sew with creativity. I've included a click-able chart below so no one misses out on these great projects:
And now we come to the part you've all been waiting for . . . today's three winners of Melissa's fantastic new e-book, Blank Slate Basics. Each comment made on the Sew In Tune guest posts on Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy were entered into the Random List Generator at random.org. There were 91 total comments.
Which mean our three winners are comments:
# 33- bcgeates
and #2- sorainima
Congratulations, ladies! You'll receive your PDF pattern book via e-mail in the coming days.
For those of you who were to be chosen, there is still a chance of being a winner in Melissa's drawing over at Melly Sews which will take place tomorrow.
And if that doesn't do it for you, Melissa is offering 20% off the Blank Slate Basics e-book tomorrow through Sunday. That's only $19.95 for an entire book of customizable boy patterns. The individual patterns will be sold for $6.95 in case you have a favorite. Click here to go to Melissa's store.
I also want to include a little shout-out to our one and only Flickr participant. Bonnie was inspired by Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog" and made this adorable pair of Houndstooth shorts for her little guy. Thanks for braving the Flickr pool, Bonnie.
So, goodbye for now. Melissa and I had so much fun with this series that we're hoping to make this an annual series. Here's hoping you'll all play along with us!
