Rainy Day Fun: Lovey Photo Shoot

We had a really jam packed week so when it rained Thursday afternoon, it was a welcome relief.  A nice excuse to stay indoors.  I can't say this is usually the case since we're an outdoorsy kind of family and their is scientific proof that consecutive rainy days make boys rammy.

When K decided to try his boots on Teddy, I knew we had ourselves a fun filled rainy day activity.

And it just took off from there.

Oh, the fun these lovies had!

S has his own, interesting sense of humor (most of it involving the phrase, "Mommy, you silwwy" and animal poop) so I'm very proud of myself any time I find something the really causes him to bust a gut.

We had so much fun thinking of funny things for the stuffed animals to do.  This well loved "dog" was a little harder to pose due to the floppy neck.

I'm a little concerned that my sense of humor has been corrupted.  Two days later, looking at these photos still brings a huge grin to my face.  Bet you can't guess to came up with the dragon pose.

  1. This is awesome. While we were waiting for the big kids at Disneyland, I let my little one take photos with my phone. She had a ball.

  2. That is so cool! My son went through a phase where he took pictures of his toys doing all kinds of things. :)

  3. What a fun day and great memories made! Years down the road y'all might not own those lovies, but you'll still have some great photos to look back on and remember. :o)

  4. I really love Whinny with the blocks. It has such a vintage look about it!

  5. What a sweet idea! THanks for sharing and I am a new follower!
Hope you have a great week!

  6. Stacey- these pictures turned out super cute. Sounds like you and the boys had a great time in doors that day. I would love if you linked it to my "show Off Mondays" link party. Found your blog through CRAFT. Way cute.

  7. This is so much fun. I know that my son would especially love this. He actually has the same little money (called Oo-oo) which is his very favorite. These pictures crack me up. Thanks for sharing at Lines Across. I just featured this on my Facebook page.
