Grandparent's Day!

Grandparents Day is coming up on September 11th .  The boys and I sat down the other day to make a little, homemade, crafty goody to send to THE WORLD'S BEST GRANDPARENTS.  No really,  I tell no lie.  My boys have the two greatest sets of grandparents worldwide.  Okay, we might be a teeny bit biased.

If you look closely you'll see that this project was actually a year in the making.  That's because I missed the mailing date for last year's Grandparents Day.  Did you know it's been on the calendar since 1978?

I can't remember where I found the poem but it melted my heart as soon as I read it, and knew it would be perfect.

My favorite part is this teeny tiny hand print which was not easy to capture.

I'm still debating whether to add a patterned background.  Maybe just behind the poem.  What do you think?
